How to join

Same world and the same players whichever device you're on. Copy the address above, then follow the steps for your edition.

Java Edition

PC · best on 1.21.8
  1. Open Minecraft and click Multiplayer.
  2. Click Add Server.
  3. Enter the address play.spiritsmp.org.
  4. Save, then join the server.
Version note: 1.21.8 gives you the full experience, but anything in our supported range connects fine.

  1. Go to the Servers tab.
  2. Scroll down and choose Add Server.
  3. Enter the address play.spiritsmp.org.
  4. Set the port to 19132.
  5. Save, then join the server.
Can't add servers? Some consoles block custom addresses, so use the friend method instead.

  1. Open the game, tap Play, then the Friends tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and search for players.
  3. Look up the gamertag playspiritsmp and add it.
  4. Go back to your friends list and find that account.
  5. Press Join next to the name.

Rules

Play fair, build what you'd be happy to show your gran, and don't make the server worse for the person next to you. The details are below.

01No griefingDon't destroy another player's build, and don't claim within 100 blocks of someone else's claim.
02No hacking or cheatingAny mod or client that hands you an unfair advantage is banned.
03No hacked clientsESP, auto-aim and anything similar gets you removed on sight.
04No movement modsSpeed, fly, and anything else that alters movement is prohibited.
05No inventory modificationsInventory hacks and custom item stacks are not allowed.
06No scammingAuction or official trades must be void from any form of scams.
07No freecam or X-rayBoth count as cheating here, mod or texture pack alike.
08No auto-place, macros or scriptsOne exception: auto-clickers are fine at grinders, nowhere else.
09Don't abuse bugs or glitchesReport them instead. Not sure whether something is a bug? Ask before you use it.
10No duplication, attempted or otherwiseTrying to dupe is a ban. Reporting a dupe earns you a reward.
11Report bugs, glitches and cheatersThe server stays fair because players tell us when it isn't.
12Keep builds appropriateNothing offensive or inappropriate, anywhere in the world.
13Follow PvP rulesDon't abuse PvP mechanics, and leave the elytra out of the arena.

01No spammingDon't flood chat, and don't ask other players to do it for you.
02No advertisingOther servers and self-promotion stay out, except in the channels made for it.
03No death threatsChat stays friendly and safe for everyone in it.
04No self-harm threatsIf you need help, open a ticket and staff will do what they can for you.
05No personal informationYours or anyone else's. Respect people's privacy.
06No impersonating staffPretending to be a staff member results in a ban.
07No ban evasionComing back on an alt extends the punishment, it doesn't end it.
08Don't be inappropriateRespect other players' boundaries and dignity. Don't be weird about it.
09Don't pester peopleConstant begging, or refusing to accept a no, wears everyone down.
10Don't spam pingsPlease. It genuinely makes us sad.
11Use common sense"It wasn't in the rules" isn't a defence. Exploiting gaps to cause problems is still against them.

01Claim ownershipYour claim is only reviewed for removal by staff if it breaks a rule or someone reports it through a ticket.
02Claim upkeepClaims cost daily rent, paid out of the claim's own fund with /claim fund <amount>. If the fund runs dry, every member gets warned; if it isn't topped up before the grace period ends, the claim is deleted automatically — regardless of how active or inactive the owner is.
03Claim proximityAll claims must sit at least 2 chunks apart, regardless of tier.
04Permission exceptionThe 2-chunk buffer doesn't apply to claims you're already a member of. To build closer to someone else's claim, simply get invited to the claim.
05No claim blockingDon't place claims around someone's base to box them in or stop them expanding.
06No claim disruptionBuilding or breaking blocks beside a claim to interfere with its owner may be treated as griefing. Staff will usually ask you to remove it first.
07Common senseLoophole-hunting that hurts other players still gets actioned.

An empty claim is inactive for more than 2 weeks? Request a removal at support ticket.

The team

Reports, claim disputes and appeals all go through tickets, which is the fastest way to reach any of us. Nobody on this list will ever DM you asking for account details.

Vote

Five links, five rewards, once every 24 hours. Voting also pushes SpiritSMP up each list, which is how new players find us.

On Bedrock? Add a dot to your name. Bedrock usernames carry a . prefix on our server, and the vote sites need the name exactly as the server sees it.

If you play as elykja on Bedrock, enter .elykja. Java players enter their name as normal.

Reward didn't arrive? Check your username matched exactly, then rejoin. Pending votes are delivered on login.
